Can it really be the beginning of a new school year? I hope everyone had the opportunity to enjoy the great weather and the fun filled community events in town. The end of June kicked us right into gear with another successful Special Olympics Tournament centered right here on the UC Davis campus. July was filled with bicycling events from the consortium on the 4th to the sold out Film Festival that took over Central Park. The Moo-nlight Marathon in August gave many of us the chance to enjoy an incredible full moon, great community spirit and to top it off the Davis Schools Foundation benefitted. It was heart warming to welcome guests from near and far for the many social events including weddings, anniversarys, class and family reunions. Through all of this we have discovered another way to provide planning resources for guests by adding a special events page to our website. You will have a chance to check it out and enjoy local fare at our Fall Welcome Reception this Friday September 10th.
